What to expect?
As a Logistics Administrative Assistant, you'll provide vital administrative and operational support to ensure the smooth running of day-to-day activities across procurement, planning, customer service and logistics functions. This role involves a variety of general administration duties.
Essential Duties and responsibilities:
Customer Service
Assist with order processing, labelling, and customer-specific requirements.
Procurement
Assist in creating inbound delivery paperwork and raising purchase orders for raw materials.
Planning
Assist in creating manufacturing schedules and printing and sorting of manufacturing tickets.
Logistics
Assist with preparing shipment paperwork, booking transportation for finished goods shipments.

Requires skilled in a range of processes, procedures and systems to carry out assigned tasks or has developed deep skills in a single area
Requires specialized skills or is multi-skilled developed through job-related training and considerable on-the-job experience
Supervisory responsibilities:
Likely to act as an informal resource for associates with less experience
Provides informal guidance and support to team members
Completes work with a limited degree of supervision
Applies knowledge of how the team integrates with other teams to achieve objectives
Provides solutions to atypical problems based on proven practices or procedures
Impacts the quality, timeliness and effectiveness of the team; recommends changes to improve efficiency

Requirements and preferred skills:
2-4 years of experience in an administrative or operational support role within a manufacturing or similar environment is preferred.
Educated to HNC/HND level or equivalent, ideally in business administration, logistics, or a related field would be adventagous.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Excellent organisational and communication skills.
Experience with SAP would be an advantage.
