Part Time Logistics Administrator Company Overview
GS Couriers are a family-owned logistics company established in 2012. We are known for our reliable, nationwide UK delivery of parcels and pallets that is backed by our dedicated support team.
Role OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Administrator to join our customer services team at GSC. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing the claims for customers and to and from other partners, ensuring that this area of the logistics processes run smoothly and efficiently. Your contributions will be vital in controlling costs, generating revenue and supporting our commitment to exceptional service delivery.
Responsibilities Process and monitor incoming claims from other network partners, ensuring timely and accurate responses Administer claims to other network partners to ensure compensation for incorrect deliveries Maintain accurate records and make clear communications re insurance claims for customers where deliveries are lost or damaged Collaborate with internal teams to resolve shipping discrepancies Support the development and implementation of processes to improve operational efficiency Cover for customer service team holidays by answering the telephone and responding to portal and email messages.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required: A level education or equivalent 1+ years of experience in working environment Strong attention to detail and self - organisational skills Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Preferred: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities Experience in logistics, warehousing, or supply chain
Operations Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
Full systems training will be provided

Remuneration and package
We offer a competitive salary. We are looking for a part time employee with a view for this new role to grow with the business and the individual.
LocationThis role requires successful candidates to be based in-person at our facility located in Witham St Hughs on a Monday - Friday work pattern.
