Beechwood Studios are the brand activation company that powers design, quality, innovation and organisation to ambitious brands looking to plant their roots in the Travel Retail environment, producing pop-up displays, promotions and instore exhibitions for their latest and best campaigns across the UK airports. Beechwood works with globally renowned high-end fashion, fragrance, liquor and confectionary houses within all travel retail stores and spaces across the United Kingdom and Great Britain.

They are currently looking to expand the team, to include a full-time multi-skilled logistics and operations technician, who would work alongside our skilled operations department, to bring ideas to life, by assisting with main logistic duties such as managing goods in/out area and system, completing deliveries, operating forklift and assisting with general operational tasks like labouring and palletisation.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES



The successful candidate will work with the team to;

Operate forklift for incoming/outgoing deliveries Complete deliveries and collections to/from suppliers and airside delivery points across the country on an intermittent basis Finalise and prepare finished products for onward shipping/fit-out/install, including secure wrapping and palletisation Manage and maintain the goods in/out areas and systems Manage and maintain current storage in the warehouse including inventory management Assist with housekeeping and general tasks in the production areas/workshop Future potential to install/de-install projects on-site during promotion schedules

MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES AND REQUIREMENTS



The ideal candidate;

Must be methodical and organised Must be knowledgeable in forklift operation and driving (min 3 years) Must be knowledgeable with logistics and delivery driving (min 3 years) with vans up to 3.5T Must be over 25 years of age Must be able to work to strict production/delivery deadlines Must be willing to complete quality management and assurance processes Must be able to work with and ensure Health and Safety guidelines Must have a clean criminal record (due to potential application of airside passes) Must have full 5 year UK work/address history (due to application of airside passes) Must have a full UK Drivers license with relevant category allowance for 3.5T vehicles Preferred familiarity with multiple vehicles and forklifts Preferred willingness to assist in final dressings (self-adhesive vinyl and graphic applications etc) CSCS Card desirable, but not essential
Fork lift training could be given to the right candidate

KEY PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES AND QUALIFICATIONS



The ideal candidate would have;

Relevant qualifications for forklift driving A clean driving license with relevant allowance for 3.5 tonne vehicles and over Good organisation, timekeeping and housekeeping Flexible approach to labouring work Great logistics experience Positive and friendly attitude Ability to work as a team of independently using initiative Flexible to work overtime hours and weekends to complete projects on time Potential Flexibility to work outside normal working hours for the fit-out schedules (overnight)

KEY JOB INFORMATION



Working Hours:

Mon-Thurs: 08:00 - 17:30 Fri: 08:00 - 16:00 30min Lunch Break (unpaid)
Wage:

Negotiable dependant on experience Very competitive salary and rates of pay Enhanced overtime rate of pay
Location:

You will be based on-site at our facilities in Luton, Bedfordshire
