Job Description

A bit about the role

The Logistics Controller at Showersave is a pivotal individual contributor role, responsible for orchestrating the efficient flow of products from our production facility to our customers. This hands-on position requires a meticulous approach to logistics, strong relationship management skills with external partners, and an unwavering commitment to operational excellence. While this role does not have direct reports, it demands strong collaboration across internal teams and effective management of third-party relationships to ensure our products are delivered on time and in full.

What you will be doing

Ensure the on-time and in-full delivery of all Showersave products to customers, meticulously planning and executing logistics operations. Provide daily order information to the assembly team, facilitating efficient production planning and dispatch. Proactively manage and foster strong, collaborative relationships with third-party transport and logistics providers to optimise service levels, cost-effectiveness, and reliability. Take responsibility for the procurement of essential packaging and storage materials, ensuring availability to meet operational demands while managing costs. Maintain accurate and up-to-date stock records within NAV (Microsoft Dynamics NAV/Business Central), diligently investigating and resolving any discrepancies. Conduct monthly stock takes to verify inventory accuracy and perform ad-hoc stock takes as required to support business needs. Provide direct support to the Production Manager as required, assisting with operational planning, scheduling, and problem-solving to ensure smooth workflow. Collaborate with the customer service and sales teams to assist with logistical queries, provide delivery updates, and resolve any related issues promptly and professionally. Proactively identify opportunities to improve logistics processes, reduce costs, and enhance delivery efficiency. Contribute to maintaining a culture of accuracy, safety, and continuous improvement within logistics operations.
