Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to oversee and optimise our supply chain operations. The successful candidate will manage goods in & goods out activities, preparing delivery documentation for completed jobs that are ready for dispatch. The successful candidate will also be responsible for purchasing materials and maintaining stock levels.

Responsibilities

Sourcing materials and generating purchases orders. Manage goods in. Check off received goods and ensuring the items that have been purchased are all present upon delivery. Manage goods out. Generate delivery dockets and check off all relevant goods that are delivered to customers. Maintain stock levels and order materials & consumables when necessary. Analyse logistics data to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements for process optimisation. Communicate effectively with internal teams, suppliers, carriers, and clients via phone, email, and other channels, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette. Maintain accurate data entry related to shipments, inventory levels, and delivery schedules.

Skills

Strong analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex logistics data for process improvements. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a professional phone manner. Competent data entry skills with high attention to detail; typing speed is advantageous. Knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures along with inventory management practices. Familiarity with logistics concepts within a supply chain environment, including 3PL operations. Organised approach to multitasking in a fast-paced setting; ability to prioritise effectively.
