The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for managing the efficient and cost-effective flow of goods, materials, and information across the logistics side of the business. This role ensures timely deliveries, accurate documentation, and effective communication between suppliers, carriers, warehouses, and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate daily logistics operations, including inbound and outbound shipments.
Liaise with suppliers, freight forwarders, carriers, and warehouses to ensure smooth delivery of goods.
Track, monitor, and report on shipments to ensure timely arrival and resolve delays.
Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipping documents, and compliance requirements.
Negotiate freight rates and monitor transportation costs to optimise efficiency.
Ensure compliance with import/export regulations, customs requirements, and company policies.
Collaborate with procurement, sales, and operations teams to forecast and meet demand.
Handle logistics-related customer queries, complaints, or claims.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and support supply chain optimisation projects.
Qualifications & Skills:
Proven experience in logistics, supply chain, or transportation coordination (2+ years).
Strong knowledge of shipping processes, customs regulations, and trade compliance.
Proficiency in logistics software (Tacho Master / FARGO / Excel).
Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Working Conditions:
