Position: Logistics Coordinator (Fixed Term 12 months Maternity Cover)


Reporting to: Transport Manager


Hours: 37.5 hours per week with flexibility to cover overtime


Mon - Fri 7.30am - 3.30pm


About the role:


Reporting to the Transport Manager and working closely with the Delivery Team, the Logistics Coordinator will support the day-to-day operations of the Transport department including vehicle maintenance, resource planning and health and safety compliance. With excellent organisational skills and liaising with the customer service team a key focus of the role will be planning routes and dealing with routing requests to ensure maximum efficiency.

Key duties include:


Ensuring compliance is kept up to date in several different areas and platforms.
Planning routes efficiently.
Processing returns
Dispatching parcel deliveries to customers
Presence in the office during mornings to resolve any issues which may arrive at the beginning of shifts.


A Few things you'll need:


Excellent organisational skills
Route planning experience
Experience working in a transport environment is preferable but not essential.
Works very well under pressure and ability to remain calm in a dynamic environment.
Driving license
Flexibility to work varying daytime hours.
