The Role
We're looking for a motivated and organised
Logistics Coordinator
to join our Northallerton operations team on a part-time basis. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, coordinating materials, and managing vehicle logistics in a busy environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate the collection & movement of vehicles and materials to and from job sites
Support the day-to-day running of the stores and logistics operations
Ensure materials and equipment are prepared and loaded for teams ahead of schedule
Maintain accurate records of stock, deliveries, and collections
Liaise with operational teams to meet logistical requirements efficiently
Perform vehicle checks and basic maintenance as needed
Requirements:
C1 Driving Licence
(essential - 7.5-ton vehicle entitlement)
Experience in logistics, transport, or stores coordination (preferred)
Strong organisational and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Reliable and punctual with a proactive attitude
Flexibility to take on additional shifts when required
Working Hours:
Mondays - 6:30am start (essential)
One additional weekday (flexible)
Extra shifts available
