Job Description


Reporting to the Head of Supply Chain Finance, the Supply Chain Finance Lead will be responsible for the reporting of PE Group Freight & Logistics costs within Pilgrims Europe, providing a financial reporting and commercial support service to the Freight & Logistics team.
What will I be doing?

  • Support in developing PE group reporting on distribution and warehousing including development of management information as required
  • Develop PE group reporting of gap closure activities within the Logistics team
  • Provide insightful analysis to help identify opportunities for cost efficiency / gap up opportunities
  • Support and provide input to standardisation initiatives as Pilgrims Europe ways of working become embedded
  • Attend and support meetings with Logistics management as required
  • Provide pro-active input to developing and implementing improvement opportunities in logistics accounting and control processes
  • Ensure compliance with all SOX and standard internal controls as required
What will I need to have?
  • Continuous improvement mindset in processes and ways of working
  • Ability to meet challenging deadlines, prioritise work and be accurate
  • Strong accounting knowledge
  • Strong Excel skills
