Due to continued growth, we are looking to hire a Logistics Import Executive to join our Logistics Department This is a full time, office-based position, working Monday to Friday from our Global Headquarters in Hassocks, West Sussex.

Function:



To work as part of the logistics imports team to ensure that all aspects of import shipping and providing customs clearance instructions are handled in accordance with company procedures and meet all operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities:



Respond promptly to customer order priorities--such as Aircraft on Ground (AOG), Immediate Operational Requirement (IOR), and routine shipment or clearance requests--while meeting established targets and KPIs Plan and execute the import of general cargo, hazardous materials, and oversized or heavyweight shipments in line with applicable shipping limitations. Provide import clearance instructions in accordance with the relevant adhering regulations. Identify the most appropriate CPC method to be utilised on import. Ensure the correct commodity code is utilised for the import of all Avtrade inventory.

What we are looking for:



Minimum 1 years' Import experience preferably gained in an aviation environment. Prior experience in shipping/logistics/supply chain administration is preferred. Knowledge of import and export procedures, controls, and regulations desirable. Ability to exceed set targets and KPI's Demonstrate good accuracy, attention to detail and numeracy skills.

Pay: 24,999.00-32,844.00 per year
