. The Logistics Intern will gain hands on experience of logistics operations, customs regulations and interact with internal external stakeholders. The intern will provide flexible support to the logistics team & Manager offering a fresh perspective on the teams and business objectives.
What Will You Do?
Logistics
Duties
Requesting & reviewing quotes from freight service providers
Selecting the best option based on cost and service & booking transportation
Tracking shipments in transit & updating customers or site stakeholders
Recording freight cost productivity and reporting back data to the Logistics Manager
Compliance Responsibilities
Completing auditing of customs declarations and reporting back to the Logistics Manager on any compliance issues
Following up non-compliance with customs brokers and/or freight service providers
Reviewing & maintaining the HS code database
Administrative
Duties
Assisting with projects and updating internal logistics documents
Raising export paperwork
Maintaining the logistics document database
Attending meetings & taking minutes as required

Competent computer skills including Excel, Word & Power BI.
