Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Logistics Associate to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing the flow of goods and materials, ensuring efficient operations within our logistics and supply chain processes. This position requires a strong understanding of logistics principles, excellent data analysis skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Coordinate and oversee the movement of materials and products within the supply chain.
Utilise transportation management systems to optimise delivery routes and schedules.
Manage warehouse operations, ensuring inventory accuracy and efficient materials handling.
Conduct data analysis to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement in logistics processes.
Collaborate with various departments to streamline business processes related to logistics and supply chain management.
Operate forklifts safely and efficiently as required for materials handling tasks.
Maintain accurate records of shipments, deliveries, and inventory levels.
Skills
Strong knowledge of logistics principles and practices.
Proficiency in category management and supply chain operations.
Experience with warehouse management systems and transportation management systems.
Excellent data analysis skills to support decision-making processes.
Familiarity with business processes related to logistics and materials handling.
Ability to operate forklifts safely; certification preferred but not mandatory.
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
