As a
Logistics Manager
at Nella Cutlery, you will oversee the day-to-day logistics operations, ensuring our delivery network runs smoothly and efficiently. You will manage and support the driver team, coordinate daily routes, handle service-related queries, and maintain a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
Exceptional customer service is central to this role. You will act as a key point of contact for resolving delivery issues, supporting customers professionally, and ensuring any service concerns are addressed quickly and effectively.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing daily logistics operations to ensure all collections and deliveries are completed on time.
Leading, coaching, and supporting the driver team to uphold high service standards.
Running daily briefings, allocating routes, and ensuring drivers have the correct information and paperwork.
Providing excellent customer service and resolving any issues or complaints related to deliveries, service quality, or customer experience.
Maintaining clear communication with senior management and internal teams to support operational efficiency.
Ensuring paperwork (including COD payments and charge signatures) is processed accurately and promptly.
Monitoring compliance with traffic laws, health & safety rules, and company procedures.
Overseeing daily vehicle checks, maintenance planning, and fleet presentation.
Maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organised depot environment.

This is a hands-on role requiring strong leadership, excellent communication, and a commitment to delivering outstanding service both internally and externally.
Qualifications / Requirements
To be considered for this role, you should have:
Previous experience in logistics, transport, operations, or depot management.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, support, and develop a team.
Excellent customer service skills and the ability to handle service issues confidently and professionally.
Strong organisational and time management abilities.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Confidence with administrative tasks and digital systems.
The ability to stay calm under pressure and make quick, effective decisions.
A proactive, hands-on approach to maintaining high operational standards.
A full UK driving licence (preferred for operational support).
