We are looking for a new Logistics Manager to join our dynamic team! You will be responsible for a new Key Account starting in our business from January 2026!
This role will look after the day-to-day operational management of one of the company's largest B2B logistics fulfilment accounts. Acting as the primary point of contact between the client and internal operational teams, this role ensures service level agreements (SLAs) are consistently met, contractual obligations are adhered to, and operational performance is continuously improved within the distribution centre.
Key Responsibilities
Client & Account Management
Act as the dedicated day-to-day contact for the client, managing all operational communication.
Serve as the conduit between the client and internal operational departments including warehouse, transport, planning, IT, and finance.
Lead and participate in weekly client governance calls, presenting performance, volumes, KPIs, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Manage and resolve operational queries, escalations, and service issues in a timely and professional manner.
Operational Oversight
Oversee daily warehouse fulfilment operations for the assigned account to ensure service levels, accuracy, and productivity targets are achieved.
Monitor and maintain agreed output service levels, including order fulfilment, dispatch accuracy, and turnaround times.
Support operational planning in line with forecasted volumes and peak activity.
Contract Governance & Compliance
Ensure all contractual obligations and service level agreements are understood, monitored, and met.
Track performance against KPIs and support corrective action plans where required.
Ensure compliance with company policies, client requirements, and operational standards.
Health & Safety
Observe and promote health and safety standards within the warehouse environment.
Support audits, risk assessments, and continuous improvement initiatives relating to H&S compliance.
Invoicing, Data & Systems
Support invoicing processes by validating operational data and chargeable activities.
Analyse operational data from the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
Produce reports and insights to support both internal stakeholders and client reviews.
Skills & Experience
Essential
Experience in a warehouse, distribution, or logistics operations environment.
Strong account management or client-facing experience within B2B logistics or supply chain.
Knowledge of warehouse operations and fulfilment processes.
Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to analyse data and translate it into operational actions.
Desirable
Experience managing large or key B2B logistics accounts.
Understanding of contract governance and SLA management.
Experience supporting invoicing and commercial processes.
Health & Safety awareness in a warehouse environment.
