Assist in preparing transport documentation, permits, and compliance paperwork
Support daily planning and coordination of road transport operations
Communicate professionally with customers, drivers, and suppliers to ensure smooth operations
Maintain accurate records and data entry within the companys Transport Management System (TMS) including reconciliation of POC/Ds and Invoicing
Monitor job progress and provide real time updates to relevant stakeholders
Direct and brief team members on daily tasks and operational priorities
Learn and support route planning, scheduling, and commercial processes (including quoting and costing)
Uphold the companys commitment to safety, security, and regulatory compliance at all times
Contribute to continuous improvement within operations and administrative processes
Deal with last minute operational issues and follow processes to ensure tasks are recovered
Skills & Experience:
Strong organisational and administrative skills with exceptional attention to detail
Confident communicator with good written and verbal English
Basic computer literacy (Microsoft Office, data entry systems)
Ability to prioritise tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
Proactive, eager to learn, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team
Reliable, punctual, and professional at all times
Qualifications:
Full clean UK driving licence (essential)
Ability to obtain UK Security Clearance (essential)
English language proficiency (essential); additional foreign language skills (advantageous)
Right to work in the UK
Early, mid, and late shifts (Monday to Friday), with shift allowance, and occasional weekend work as required by the business
