. Key responsibilities include maintaining accurate inventory records, processing orders, coordinating deliveries, and operating Material Handling Equipment (MHE). Success in this role requires strong organisational skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
Health & Safety
Comply with all Health & Safety regulations and company policies at all times.
Take responsibility for your own safety and the safety of others, especially when operating Material Handling Equipment (MHE) or carrying out manual handling activities.
Stock Management & Administration
Accurately process daily Retail, Industrial, and other orders, ensuring stock availability is verified and any shortages are communicated effectively.
Coordinate with hauliers and suppliers to schedule booking-in and collection slots, ensuring timely and accurate handling of all inbound and outbound deliveries.
Maintain up-to-date and accurate stock records across both on-site and off-site locations using SAP or a Warehouse Management System (WMS).
Perform weekly stock reconciliations with external storage providers and promptly resolve any discrepancies.
Arrange transport with external hauliers, ensuring any updates or changes are communicated effectively and in a timely manner.
Manage internal and external stock transfers to support operational needs and maintain inventory accuracy.
Properly isolate and store rejected, returned, or held stock, and ensure all disposals are documented and included in routine reporting.
Warehouse & MHE Operations
Safely operate forklifts and other Material Handling Equipment (MHE) to move, stack, and relocate materials across warehouse and logistics areas, including the loading and unloading of vehicles.
Carry out daily safety checks on all MHE and promptly report any defects or maintenance requirements.
Assist with the labelling and booking-in of inbound goods, ensuring accurate processing before transferring items to designated storage locations.
Support overall site cleanliness, recycling, and waste management in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards.
Teamwork and Communication
Work collaboratively with colleagues in warehousing, procurement, transport and management to ensure efficient operations.
Communicate effectively to support smooth workflow and the fulfilment of service and production requirements.

Skills Required
Previous experience in logistics administration, stock control, or warehouse operations is highly beneficial.
Valid MHE licence with proven experience operating forklifts or similar equipment.
Familiarity with SAP or other Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is desirable but not essential.
Strong numeracy skills and keen attention to detail, especially in inventory management tasks.
Competent in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Able to work effectively under pressure and manage time efficiently.
Self-motivated with strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
Able to communicate proficiently in verbal and written English.
