Logistics Team Supervisor

to play a vital role in keeping our vibrant campus running smoothly. If you're ready to lead a dedicated team, deliver exceptional service, and make a real impact across our stunning 400-acre site, we want to hear from you! You will join on a full-time contract (40 hours per week).


Key Responsibilities (see JD for full details)




Lead and supervise the logistics team, ensuring efficient, safe, and high-standard completion of all tasks. Oversee room setups, furniture movements, waste management, and laundry distribution as required. Manage team schedules, annual rotas, and provide cover for absent team members. Ensure the team demonstrates the College's core values in all activities. Oversee event logistics, including setup and breakdown for conferences, lectures, and functions. Collaborate with other departments to ensure equipment and facilities are maintained and fit for purpose. Manage janitorial supplies, maintain external areas, and respond to emergency cleaning situations.

We're looking for someone who is:




Experienced in a supervisory or similar logistical role. Proficient in written and spoken English. Physically fit to meet the demands of manual handling and campus-wide tasks. A dedicated team player who leads by example and strives for excellence. Organised, self-motivated, and able to work independently. Able to communicate effectively with colleagues, staff, visitors, and pupils. Adaptable, flexible, and committed to contributing to the College community. Full UK Driving Licence.

Desirable




Awareness of safeguarding requirements and good practice within an educational setting. Awareness of COSHH regulations in a school or college environment. Familiarity with Health & Safety, First Aid, and Manual Handling procedures.
