Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced

Logistics Supervisor

to manage and coordinate all site logistics on a busy development project. The role involves supervising multiple teams, including banksmen, security officers, cleaners, bin collection operatives, and labourers, ensuring smooth site operations, safety compliance, and efficient delivery of services.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and coordinate site-based teams, including: Banksmen & traffic marshals Security officers Cleaners & waste management operatives Bin collection teams Labourers and general operatives Plan, manage, and monitor the safe movement of materials, plant, and equipment across the site. Schedule and supervise deliveries, site access, and traffic flow to avoid congestion. Liaise with site management, contractors, and suppliers to ensure timely and efficient operations. Maintain and update logistics plans, delivery schedules, and operational records. Ensure full compliance with health & safety regulations and site rules. Manage waste removal and recycling in line with environmental policies. Lead, train, and motivate staff to maintain high performance and productivity.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Logistics Supervisor on a construction or development site. Strong knowledge of site logistics, traffic management, and health & safety requirements. Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple teams and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: 14.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
