Key responsibilities:



Route planning

Day to day support of operational staff in order to achieve service delivery KPI'S.

Initiate and understanding key fundamentals of route efficiency and utilising optimum disposal outlets within the area to ensure effective use of vehicles and facilities and understand associated operational cost .

The planning of all vehicles and supervision of all equipment associated with jobs planned to achieve the KPI service level

Customer Service and communication

Resolving service-related queries and invoice/charge queries on behalf of the customer and with the support of Customer Services.

Communicate effectively to impacted key stakeholders within the business with service-related issues & resolutions

Liaise closely with commercial, cross functions teams and key stake holders within the company.

Take a pro-active approach and work closely with clients to achieve KPI's

Driver management and engagement

Carry out regular scheduled updates with the management team ensuring KPI's are achieved to the customer requirements.

Engage with drivers promptly with all methods of communication, ensuring their efficiency is challenged, achieved & reviewed daily.

Execute delivering debriefing and pre-briefing of operational staff at the end of each working day to identify any challenges and support with swift resolutions.

Support and develop an understanding of driver availability and coverage in line with legislation and company procedures to ensure that there is suitable coverage at all times.

Carry out return to works, holiday reviews & disciplinaries when appropriate to do so.

Carry out driver interviews to ensure they align with our values.

Supporting the S&D Manager to ensure that mandatory training, induction and toolbox talks are delivered in line with company policy.

Asset management

Controlling vehicle availability on a daily basis to ensure that drivers have completed their checks in accordance with company policy.

Communicate issues with vehicles and waste containers to maintenance teams and own the issue until resolution

Compliance Monitoring:

Assist in tracking driver hours, infringements and vehicle usage to ensure compliance with transport regulations and internal standards are sustained.

Initiate accident investigations and support the SHEQ manager by ensuring details are secured, recorded and the correct processes are followed.

Maintain consistent records of all documentation such as infringements, interviews, audit relevant information.

General

Deliver on any other reasonable duties commensurate with the post, which may be allocated from time to time.

Flexible approach to working hours

Ensure all associated administration duties are carried out in line with company procedures

Ensure that a professional and courteous approach is adopted at all time

Health and Safety responsibilities

:

Strictly adhere to all Health and Safety procedures and ensure that the working environment is practical for both you and others. Ensure all Accidents, incidents & Near misses are investigated to a viable conclusion with support from the SHEQ Manager Ensure that driver health is supervised by reporting any changes in Driver health that may be observed or reported to them Ensure that all Drivers are adequately trained and have receive a company induction that is up to date

Qualifications and Experience:



Experience in delivering excellent customer service Experience in transport planning and operations an advantage, but training provided Good IT skills Good communication skills 5 GCSE's C or above Experience working in a fast-paced environment Experience working under pressure

Pay: 32,000.00-36,000.00 per year
