Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently across various routes. This role requires a strong commitment to safety and professionalism, ensuring that all deliveries are made on time while adhering to traffic regulations and company policies.
Duties
Operate a lorry to transport goods to designated locations Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securing of items Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation as required Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving, promoting safety on the road Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise Adhere to company policies regarding vehicle maintenance and cleanliness
Experience
Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar commercial driving role is essential Age 30 above. Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices in driving Ability to navigate using GPS systems and maps effectively Excellent time management skills with a focus on punctuality
