preferred but not essential - training can be provided for the right candidate.Patterson Oil are a family-run business with over 30 years in the industry, seeking a skilled and reliable ADR Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to safety and efficiency while transporting fuel to customers across various routes.
Responsibilities
Operate an HGV oil tanker in compliance with road safety regulations and company policies. Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in safe working condition. Load and unload fuel securely via delivery hose. Plan routes effectively to optimise delivery times within legal driving hours. Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation. Communicate with dispatchers about any issues or delays. Maintain cleanliness and report any vehicle defects promptly.
Experience & Skills
Previous experience as a Commercial or Delivery Driver is desirable. Familiarity with fuel tanker operations advantageous but not essential - training provided. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. Good communication skills and customer focus.
