LPG Vessel Operator

The Operator will be responsible for operation of LPG (Liquified petroleum gas) vessels from western region including U.S.A., Canada to Japan, Europe, South America and Asia.

Fluent in both English and Japanese - ESSENTIAL for this role

Experience of international trade or transportation business e.g., shipping company - the person will need to communicate with captains of the vessels, suppliers in the US, agents in Panama Canal and with HQ in Tokyo.

We need someone with experience in the shipping or energy industry.

Overview:

Responsible for following all operations of LPG vessels including our 8-time chartered vessels.

Executing a safe, smooth and efficient operation by scheduling vessel\'s movements at ports and at sea

Responsible for all operation matters and documentation of operation.

Acquiring vessel acceptance at load ports (mainly in US) and discharging ports, nomination of laycan and acquiring acceptance of laycan at load ports and discharging ports, acquiring invoices from suppliers and schedule payment arrangements for the LPG cargoes

Liaising with captain of vessels, shipping brokers, suppliers, buyers, port agents, chartering team in London and Tokyo, operation and trading teams in Tokyo and Houston and other related parties

Assisting to analyse congestion of Panama Canal and participate in the competitions/auctions for slot of Panama Canal, arranging and monitoring vessels\' Panama Canal transits.
