Job Description

Overview:
We are seeking a Monday to Friday 10am-2pm Lunch Assistant to join our team in providing support during lunchtime at our nursery. The successful candidate will assist our practitioners in ensuring a safe and engaging environment for children during their lunch time.

Duties:

Supervise children during lunchtime, ensuring their safety and well-being Assist children with special dietary needs, including those with allergies Engage and communicate effectively with staff and children to create a positive lunchtime experience Mentor and educate children on appropriate behaviour and social skills Support children with various tasks helping to build their independence. Maintain clean and tidy food areas. Help serve children's lunches Assist/supervise the children over the lunch period Help clear tables and chairs after use. Ensure all dishes are collected and washed and restocked.

Ability to work as a team Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with young people
