, a unique family owned independent setting located in an idyllic village centre location in Liphook, Hampshire are recruiting for a part time Lunchtime Assistant.

Opened in late 2022, we are a Steiner influenced setting and hold great value in learning through play and in the environment. We have designed a setting to inspire and captivate young minds and imaginations and we are seeking a team member to join us now at this exciting time of our progression.

The Role:

The position is Monday - Friday, 3 hour shifts, 10:30 - 13:30. We are a year round nursery, so open 51 weeks of the year.

As a

Lunchtime Assistant,

your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Clear away tables after morning snack and clean/sanitise Record all food expiry dates on the daily meal plan Wash and dry all snack crockery etc Prepare working area with utensils, crockery, cutlery etc Put away any clean face clothes / wash any bibs/facecloths in buckets Stock check of fridge and freezer Cleaning of Fridge and Freezer Monitoring and recording food temperatures Serving correct portions of meals in a hygienic manner Prepare and serve meals, taking into account individual's dietary needs and requirements Ensure all dirty crockery etc is washed to a high standard and stored away correctly Clean all tables and chairs with the correct cleaning products Clean kitchen surfaces Laundry duties General Cleaning and Sanitising
Minimum qualification level 2 in Food Hygiene. For the right applicant we can assist with obtaining this prior to starting.

All staff must have a full enhanced DBS check and be registered to the update service. For the right candidate we can assist with obtaining this prior to starting.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 15 per week
