At Ramillies, we're more than just a nursery - we're a place where children thrive, learn, and explore in a secure and nurturing environment. Located in Cheadle Hulme, we provide exceptional care for children aged 6 months to 11 years, and we want YOU to be part of our dynamic team as a Lunchtime Assistant!

What You'll Do:

Keep Things Clean & Safe:

Ensure mealtimes are safe, hygienic, and fun, helping to create a clean and inviting space for children to enjoy their lunch and play.

Be Part of a Fabulous Team:

Work closely with the team to create a warm, supportive environment where children feel safe and valued, making their lunchtime an enjoyable part of their day.

Support Children's Needs:

Assist children with eating, encourage good table manners, and help with any personal care needs during lunchtime.

Promote a Positive Atmosphere:

Foster a positive and friendly atmosphere where children feel comfortable and happy during mealtime.

Champion Safeguarding:

Keep children's safety a top priority, ensuring that all safeguarding policies and procedures are followed.

Lead by Example:

Be a role model for the children by showing kindness, patience, and empathy while supporting their social and emotional development during lunchtime.

What We're Looking For:

A DfE approved Level 2 or 3 Childcare qualification (preferred but not essential). A passion for supporting young children and promoting their well-being A commitment to safeguarding and child welfare A friendly, can-do attitude and a love for teamwork A desire to learn, grow, and contribute to the nursery community
