Job Description

Monique Montessori Day Nursery is looking to employ a lunchtime cover. The lunchtime cover role is essentially to free up existing staff such that they can take a break, normally between 11:30am. and 2.30pm. This is an employed position on a permanent contract or fixed term, dependent on the nursery requirements. Generally, the hours will be the same each week although from time to time lunch cover staff may be asked to work longer hours, although this is not a mandatory part of the role. Lunch cover staff are not required to be qualified but will be expected to develop their roles in terms of understanding and applying nursery policies and procedures. However, you will undertake Food Hygiene training on the job and mentoring will also be provided . Lunch cover staff will be expected to assist in ensuring all children attending Monique Montessori receive high quality care, are kept safe and are provided with planned and stimulating play experiences which meet their individual needs.
