Smarty Pants Day Nursery is a vibrant and nurturing nursery dedicated to providing quality care and education to young children. We are committed to creating a supportive environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive.

We are currently seeking a reliable and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Nursery Lunchtime Cover. This position involves assisting with lunchtime routines and supervising children during meal times. The successful candidate will ensure a safe and enjoyable dining experience for our young learners.

Responsibilities:

- Supervise children during lunchtime, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.

- Assist with serving food to children, adhering to dietary requirements and allergies.

- Engage children in conversation and encourage positive mealtime behaviors.

- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the dining areas and kitchen.

- Collaborate with nursery staff to support the smooth running of lunchtime activities.

Requirements:

- Minimum level 2 Early Years qualification

- Previous experience working with young children essential.

- Ability to communicate effectively with children and adults.

- Understanding of health and safety regulations, including dietary and allergy awareness in a childcare setting.

- Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude.

- Ability to work well within a team.
