Lunchtime Educator
A Lunchtime Educator plays a supportive role in ensuring the smooth running of the nursery at a key time in the day. They typically work part-time hours 11 - 2.00 pm , all year round, and maybe qualified level 3 or 2 early years educator or unqualified. They are helpful, caring and reliable individuals who work flexibly to provide cover throughout the nursery, supervising meals, tidying up efficiently, playing and interacting and may help to soothe children to sleep. An enhanced DBS check and references are required before any appointment can be confirmed.
MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
1. To contribute to the creation of a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment for all children.
2. To care for children and follow instructions and systems to ensure consistent, high-quality care.
3. To be vigilant and protect children from harm or abuse, reporting any concerns immediately - in accordance with child protection and safeguarding policies.
4. To play and interact with the children inside and outside.
5. To be reliable and punctual, maintaining staffing ratios at all times.
6. To interact warmly with children and parents, supporting colleagues to fulfill their key person responsibilities.

Pay: 12.21-13.00 per hour
