WORKING PATTERN: 5 hours a week - Monday-Friday (12:00-13:00)

JOB PURPOSE:

To ensure that the students are appropriately supervised during the lunchtime break and to encourage students to take responsibility for leaving the dining areas and other areas of the Academy used at lunchtime in a clean condition in close liaison with the Teaching, Support and Kitchen staff. To contribute to the promotion of the well-being of children within the academy. To promote and safeguard the welfare of children you come into contact with. To promote and develop a positive culture and ensure diversity within the academy community is recognised and respected. To contribute to the development of the academy's vision, values and aims and to abide by agreed professional behaviours and attitudes. SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES: To assist in the lunchtime supervision of pupils to ensure that the meal is completed on time in a safe and hygienic setting. To ensure children play safely and supervise behaviour following the Academy's Positive Behaviour Policy. To report to Senior Meal Supervisor, class teacher or ALT any concerns regarding safety or behaviour. To help children enjoy a successful and enjoyable playtime.

To undertake professional development and training activities as appropriate. To attend staff meetings and development days as directed by Senior Leadership Team.
