Lunchtime Supervisor
12:00pm - 1:30pm, Monday to Friday, term time only

We are looking to appoint a Lunchtime Supervisor. The role will be based at our Longdon (junior) site.
You will be part of a team of existing lunchtime staff who supervise the children during their break, ensuring that all pupils are safe, all safeguarding rules are adhered to, and good behaviour is maintained throughout their lunch break.
Duties will include:
Supervising the playground, dining hall and corridors as necessary
Patrol all 'out of bounds' areas regularly
Tending to sick children or summoning help, and assisting with first aid and recording incidents as per school policies (please note that a First Aid qualification is not required for this role but would be beneficial, you may be required to undergo training once in post)
Dealing with the supervision of pupils should there be any emergency situations such as a fire drill
Dealing with incidents of misbehaviour where necessary and liaising with appropriate teaching staff if required
Recording poor behaviour to report to class teachers
Promote and safeguard the welfare of children and young persons you are responsible for or come into contact with.
Be aware of and comply with policies and procedures relating to child protection, health, safety and security, confidentiality and data protection, reporting all concerns to an appropriate person. Be aware of, support and ensure equal opportunities for all.
Contribute to the overall ethos/work/aims of the school.
Participate in training and other learning activities and performance development as required.
