Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and experienced individual to join our team as a Delivery Driver. The ideal candidate will possess strong commercial driving skills, with a focus on delivery operations. This role involves operating 3.5t Luton Van vehicles, ensuring timely collection/deliveries, and maintaining excellent communication with clients and team members. The position offers an opportunity to utilise your driving expertise while contributing to efficient logistics and transportation services.

Working hours are between 12:00-21:00 Monday - Friday.

Responsibilities

Safely operate 3.5t Luton van for the delivery of goods to various locations. Conduct routine vehicle inspections and basic mechanical checks to ensure vehicle safety and compliance. Load and unload cargo, ensuring items are secured properly during transit. Maintain accurate delivery documentation and communicate effectively with clients regarding delivery times or issues. Follow all health and safety protocols during driving, loading, and unloading processes. Provide excellent customer service through professional communication and timely deliveries.

Requirements

Proven experience in commercial driving, particularly with 3.5t Luton Van vehicles or similar. Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record. Experience as a delivery driver is highly desirable. Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and team members. Ability to handle physical tasks such as loading/unloading cargo safely. Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to commercial driving and logistics.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 12.21-15.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
