Do you have previous experience in machine operation or minor maintenance repairs?
Have you maybe got CNC experience and want to move into a different industry? Have you overseen the duties of staff day to day?
Machine Controllers carry out minor repairs and basic preventative maintenance in order to enhance machine uptime and to achieve product quality standards.
This role is based at our Balmalcolm Site.

The role involves
~ Pre Start Up Checks conducted and recorded
~ Ensuring colleagues using machinery have been provided with relevant training
~ Fault finding and mechanical issue solving or flagging up to others where required
~ Communication with supervisors and teams leads to understand targets
~ Delegate tasks to team members / machine operatives
~ Accurate and timely completion of all paperwork associated with the role
~ Minimising waste of raw and packaging materials
~ Checking packaging prior to production runs
~ Quality control checks on packaging and print
~ Supporting our technicians
~ Nurturing relationships with our engineering teams and other departments

Working hours -
We work on a rota of Day Shift/ Back Shift hours consist of 07.00 - 14.00, 14.30 - 22.00 and 07.00 - 17.30 with every second weekend off.
