Machine Controller - Balmalcolm
Our ideal candidate will:
Have machine operation and/or minor maintenance and repairs experience Genuine interest in mechanics Have some experience of delegating tasks to staff Confident in using tools and skills to take on minor maintenance jobs Be technology savvy An eye for detail Have the physical capabilities for a role with lifting and manual working Result driven team work ethics A good level of written and verbal English
The role involves:
Pre Start Up Checks conducted and recorded Ensuring colleagues using machinery have been provided with relevant training Fault finding and mechanical issue solving or flagging up to others where required Communication with supervisors and teams leads to understand targets Delegate tasks to team members / machine operatives Accurate and timely completion of all paperwork associated with the role Minimising waste of raw and packaging materials Checking packaging prior to production runs Quality control checks on packaging and print Supporting our technicians Nurturing relationships with our engineering teams and other departments
Working Hours are 40 hours averaged over two weeks.
Pay Rate
13.83 per hour
17.28 per hour O/T
