Responsibilities

Develop and implement machine learning models using frameworks such as TensorFlow and Spark. Design and optimise database architectures to support large-scale data processing and analysis. Utilise programming languages including Python, Java, C, and VBA for model development and automation tasks. Manage big data workflows with tools like Hadoop, Bash (Unix shell), and SQL to extract insights from complex datasets. Apply data mining techniques to uncover patterns and trends within diverse data sources. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into existing systems and applications. Conduct research on emerging AI methodologies such as natural language processing (NLP) and deep learning. Ensure the scalability, security, and efficiency of deployed models in cloud environments such as AWS. Document processes thoroughly to facilitate ongoing maintenance and future enhancements.

Experience

Proven experience in developing machine learning models with frameworks like TensorFlow, R, or SAS. Strong proficiency in programming languages including Python, Java, C, VBA, and Bash (Unix shell). Extensive knowledge of big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and SQL databases. Demonstrated expertise in data mining, natural language processing (NLP), and AI applications. Experience working with cloud platforms like AWS for deployment and scaling of ML solutions. Background in database design with a focus on optimisation for large datasets. Familiarity with tools for data analysis such as R and SAS is desirable. Ability to work independently or collaboratively within a dynamic team environment.
