Key Machine Minder Responsibilities:

Set up, start, and operate automated production equipment to meet daily output and quality standards. Complete start-up and routine checks to ensure machinery is safe and running to specification. Monitor machine performance during production, making adjustments to maintain efficiency and consistency. Work closely with shift supervision to coordinate breaks, changeovers, and workflow. Identify equipment faults and assist with basic diagnostics alongside the engineering team. Escalate mechanical or technical issues promptly to reduce downtime. Maintain clear and accurate shift handovers to ensure operational continuity. Keep machinery and work areas clean, organised, and compliant with site standards. Carry out cleaning tasks in line with documented procedures. Support the training of colleagues once fully competent in the role. Develop capability across additional equipment and processes as required. Follow all health, safety, and site procedures without exception.

Required Machine Minder Experience:

Previous experience operating machinery in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Strong awareness of health & safety and quality requirements. Ability to monitor performance, identify issues, and respond effectively. Good communication skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork. Strong attention to detail with a practical problem-solving mindset. Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
