We are looking for a

Machine Minder

to join our Production team at

Pilgrim's Europe - Moy Park.

In this role, you will ensure the smooth running of production machinery, maintain high quality standards, and support the day to day efficiency of the manufacturing process. You will work closely with colleagues, supervisors, and the maintenance team to keep production on track and equipment in excellent condition.

Work Pattern:

Working hours are: 06.00am to 18.00pm, rotational, as a part of the Team B.


Week 1: Mon, Tues, Fri, Sat, Sun


Week 2: Wed, Thurs

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor, operate, and support production machinery on a daily basis. Carry out basic machine adjustments and set ups. Perform regular quality checks and maintain accurate production records. Work closely with the maintenance team to report faults, breakdowns, or recurring issues. Ensure production areas remain clean, tidy, and safe at all times. Support smooth changeovers and start up procedures. Report hazards, incidents, near misses, and unsafe behaviours. Follow all company policies, health & safety procedures, and standard operating guidelines. Assist colleagues and work effectively as part of the team. Undertake additional tasks as required by the Line Manager.

Health & Safety Responsibilities:

Take reasonable care for your own health and safety and for the safety of others. Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as provided. Follow all company safety rules and procedures. Report all accidents, injuries, hazards, and unsafe conditions immediately.

Skills, Knowledge & Experience:

Essential

Ability to communicate, read, and write in English. Mechanical awareness and understanding of basic machine operations. Experience in a production or manufacturing environment. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good attention to detail and problem solving skills. Willingness to work shifts and be flexible. Ability to make decisions when required.

Desirable

Previous experience in machine minding or similar roles. Knowledge of quality processes and production documentation. Understanding of workplace safety principles.
