The Role

The main purpose of this role is to work in the Mould Shop on the production of plastic injection moulded products/parts for our customers and clients. The role involves setting up various jobs and running the moulding machines, including end-of-line stacking when required. The job also involves managing the ordering and storing of raw materials and other items used in the moulding process, as well as some basic maintenance and repair of the various moulding equipment used in the process. Along with some other general warehouse/manufacturing responsibilities, this role adds up to an interesting and varied work mix, all of this activity needs to be from a safe and environmentally positive workplace.

Key tasks/main duties:

Work with the Mould Shop Manager to execute that day's / week's moulding activities to meet the expected plan requirements. Use the computer systems to correctly select the correct job to mould and material requirements Correctly organise and select the correct tooling for manufacture. The accurate printing of production box tickets to accurately produce the correct amount of mouldings to fulfil the requirement Accurately set and make ready for all mould/mould-print jobs Produce quality mouldings to the company's / customers required specifications Produce quality printed mouldings to the company's / customers' required specifications Conduct monthly stock take, off masterbatches and materials and ensure adequate stocks are maintained Maximise use of time and working day by concentrating on specific tasks at agreed times. Be punctual and respectful with a positive approach to work. Work to pre-defined procedures for mould and mould/ print Work to your full potential each day; particularly to help colleagues. Ensure that equipment is properly maintained. Keep work areas clean and tidy at all times. Comply with company rules and policies, reading job instructions to understand all requirements. Carry out other duties or requests from within capabilities which may be in other areas

Pay: 26,000.00-27,000.00 per year
