Overview


We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Machine Operator to run and maintain our flatbed automatic/semi-automatic digital printing machine. The successful candidate will ensure efficient operation of our printing equipment, produce high-quality print outputs, and contribute to continuous improvement within our production process. An over-and-above mindset is essential, with a willingness to support as required, on other manufacturing & operational areas such as die-cutting, assembling / handwork, and occasional assistance with goods in / out.

Monday to Friday, 7.00am to 5.00pm (with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break). Overtime may be available during peak periods.

Responsibilities



Operate automatic and semi-automatic digital printer with precision and care Set up and calibrate printing machines according to job specifications Monitor production runs to ensure quality standards are met Load and unload printing materials, ensuring stock is managed appropriately Perform basic troubleshooting, maintenance, and cleaning of machines Identify and report equipment faults or quality issues promptly Accurately complete production records and documentation Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines Maintain a clean and safe work environment in accordance with health & safety guidelines Actively contribute to process improvement and efficiency initiatives Support other operational areas such as die-cutting, handwork, and despatch when needed.

Skills



Prior experience operating digital print machines (automatic/semi-automatic preferred) Strong attention to detail and quality control Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills Ability to follow work instructions, technical drawings, and safety protocols Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Basic computer literacy and familiarity with digital interfaces Experience with specific print technologies (UV digital systems) (desirable) Knowledge of colour management and finishing processes (desirable).
