About the Role:

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking

Night Shift Laundry Machine Operative

to join our team. This is a hands-on role where you'll be responsible for operating industrial laundry equipment to ensure high standards of cleanliness, efficiency, and order fulfilment during overnight hours Sunday - Wednesday 7pm - 7am

Key Responsibilities:

Machine Operation:

Load and feed laundry items into washing, drying, and ironing/folding machines efficiently and safely.

Folding & Packing:

Neatly fold clean items and pack according to customer or internal specifications.

Washing & Drying:

Sort laundry by fabric and color, operate washers/dryers, and monitor cycles for quality assurance.

Quality Control:

Inspect laundry items for stains or damage and take corrective actions when needed.

Order Fulfilment:

Accurately prepare and pack customer orders for delivery or collection.

Maintenance & Cleanliness:

Maintain cleanliness of machines and work area; report any equipment faults.

Teamwork:

Communicate effectively with colleagues to ensure smooth handovers and workflow.

Requirements:

Previous experience in a laundry, warehouse, or production environment is desirable but not essential - full training will be provided. Ability to work night shifts consistently. Physically fit - this role involves standing for long periods and handling heavy loads. Attention to detail and good organizational skills. Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team. Basic understanding of health & safety practices.
