Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Plant Machine Operator within construction/ground work to join our dynamic team. this is a self employed role who are CIS registered. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining various machines for ground work, ensuring that production processes run smoothly and efficiently. This role requires a strong understanding of machinery, as well as the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues as they arise.

working in the Milton Keynes area then working all over the country.
Wages are negotiable depending on experience.

Duties

Using various machines and tools, such as excavators, dumpers, telehandlers, and other equipment to complete tasks. Adhering to safety processes and procedures, including wearing necessary PPE, and ensuring a safe work environment. Perform routine maintenance on machines to prevent breakdowns. Working with other team members and supervisors to ensure efficient plant operations.

Experience

Previous experience as a Machine Operator or in a similar role is preferred. The work can be physically demanding, requiring the ability to lift heavy objects and spend time in various working conditions. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to apply logical reasoning in troubleshooting scenarios. Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and other team members.

Expected hours: 60 per week

Schedule:

12 hour shift Monday to Friday

Milton Keynes MK15: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
Willingness to travel:

25% (preferred)
