A leading FMCG manufacturer is looking for a Machine Operators / Production Operatives to work on the premises of its modern, automated, and clean site in the centre of Gloucester.Excellent pay, conditions and long term opportunities working for a reputable organisation with excellent reviews.PAY: starting at xc2xa316.01 flat rate on 4 on 4 off pattern raising to up to xc2xa319.58 depending on the role, skills and experienceHOURS: Mix of 12 hrs days and nights shifts on a pattern, however you must be fully flexible.RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Use appropriate material handling equipment to move product and materials from and to designated locations to support bulk activities in an efficient and safe manner.
• Running machinery/equipment to meet targets
• Quality checking the product
• Collecting data from the line and recording it accurately

• Ensuring the production area meets strict hygiene standards
• Packaging the product

• Conducts and adheres to cleaning and allergen control regimes
• Adheres to all policies and procedures relating to product age and quality.

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

• National school leaver qualifications in Reading and Comprehension, Writing and Mathematics.

The ideal candidate for this role will have some experience in a Manufacturing/Production role, preferably within the food industry however training will be given.

• Applicant must be a committed team worker with a strong sense of responsibility and good attention to detail.

• IT Skills- Must be competent in the use of basic software.
