Overview


We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude and experience in operating machinery within a manufacturing or warehouse environment. This role is crucial for ensuring the efficient production of high-quality products while adhering to safety standards and operational guidelines.

Duties



Operate and monitor various types of machinery, ensuring optimal performance and quality output. Fabricate components as per specifications using hand tools and machinery. Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment to prevent downtime. Utilise CAD software, such as SolidWorks, to assist in the design and modification of parts. Handle materials safely and efficiently throughout the production process. Maintain accurate records of production data, including quantities produced and any issues encountered. Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth workflow and meet production targets. Follow all health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.

Qualifications



Proven experience as a Machine Operator or in a similar role within a manufacturing setting. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot machinery effectively. Familiarity with materials handling principles and warehouse operations. Proficient in using hand tools and operating milling machines. Basic maths skills for measuring and calculating dimensions accurately. Experience with CAD software, particularly SolidWorks, is highly desirable. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
