Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of machinery within a manufacturing environment. This role requires a strong understanding of tooling and materials handling.. As a Machine Operator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient production of high-quality products.

Responsibilities

Maintain all housekeeping standards to ensure care and maintenance of equipment and sustain an organized, clean work environment free from debris and hazards Setup and run Ashe and Comexi Slitting, Punch and Perforating machines and other equipment following procedures according to customer specifications. Ensure that all instructions for the safe operation of any equipment is followed and appropriate PPE is worn. Consistently produce product to the highest achievable standard To complete all QC checks and complete associated paperwork to BRC requirements Conduct routine inspections of machinery to ensure proper functionality and perform basic maintenance tasks. To monitor the print quality at all times Maintain accurate records of production output and any issues encountered during operation. Meet set targets and deadlines to dispatch orders to the customer on time in full Actively contribute to a safe working environment

Skills

Proficient in tooling techniques and materials handling practices. Physical coordination and good manual dexterity Lifting is a requirement of this position so being physically fit is a requirement Experience operating Slitting machines or similar equipment is highly desirable. Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations related to production tasks. Good time management skills. Thorough attention to detail. Ability to work on your own and with others. Need to be able to work a 3 shift pattern 24/5 Use of a vehicle is essential
