Full-time (Double Day Working Pattern - Alternating Shifts - 1 week on early / 1 week on late) 6am-3pm / 2pm-11pm Monday to Thursday, 6am - 12pm / 11am - 5pm Fridays.

Salary:

Starting from 15.26 per hour (12.21 x 1.25) - Overtime available

Job Summary

EmTech Hatchery Systems design, manufacture & install a range of specialist incubation machines for the poultry industry, selling worldwide with a reputation for quality.

EmTech is offering an exciting opportunity, to join a growing business operating within the mechanical & electronics engineering industry. We require a committed, hardworking Machine Shop Operative to join a growing team. You will need to have transferable skills not limited to one job, you must work to the highest standards and will ideally have a background working within a metal shop or manufacturing environment. You will be operating machinery, handle raw materials, and ensure our products meet the highest standards and durability.

Responsibilities:

Following health and safety guidelines to maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Operating metal shop machinery to cut, shape and form metal components.

Ensure that all parts meet quality standards and specifications.

Assist with routine maintenance of equipment and tooling.

Identify issues and discuss solutions with team members, issuing corrective actions where necessary.

Requirements:

Excellent understanding of Health and Safety Manage own time and prioritise workload Proven experience as a Press Brake, Laser or CNC Operator. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand technical drawings and specifications. Strong attention to detail and focus on producing high quality products. Mechanical skills with the ability to learn and operate various tools and machinery. Team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn and adapt.
