Machine Repair Engineer - Training Provided

Fowlmere, nr Royston | 25-30k | Mon-Fri only

We're a friendly, family-run company looking for a practical, hands-on person to join our workshop team. We don't expect you to have experience with carpet cleaning machines - full on the job training will be provided. As long as you enjoy fixing mechanical things and solving problems, this job could be for you.

The role:

Diagnose and repair portable carpet cleaning machines in our workshop
Carry out routine servicing and testing
Work with both mechanical and electrical components
Assist with pre-production manufacturing and machine preparation
Keep accurate records of repairs manufally and on Sage software
Opportunity to progress to working on highly specialised truckmouted equipment
On occasion you will be required to collect supplies in the company van, therefore a driving license is essential

What you'll get:

Monday-Friday only, 41.5 hours per week - no weekends, no mandatory overtime
