Job Description
Machine Operator/Setter, Peterlee.
Profins has been in business for over 40 years, manufacturing and supplying various types of heat exchanger tubes to the petrochemical industry.
We are looking to increase our workforce and currently have openings for full time machine setters/operators. These roles will involve starting up, setting and operating the various machines on the shop floor and we are looking for candiates who are mechnically minded. On the job training will be conducted by experienced staff and you will be expected to keep the machines clean and the general factory area tidy.
Shifts can vary and may include some weekend work and night shifts when production pressures require it but are typically either:
Day shift: Monday to Thursday: 8:00 to 16:00. and Friday: 8:00 to 14:00
Or
Two shift system (15% shift allowance):
Early Shift - Monday to Friday. 8 Hour Shifts: 06:00 to 14:00.
Late Shift - Monday to Thursday. 10 Hour Shifts: 13:50 to 23:50.
23 days holiday a year plus bank holidays, extra holidays are given for longterm service.
