We're now looking for a ZUND Operative to join our growing team. In this role, you'll help ensure our products are packed and delivered with precision, supporting our reputation for excellence and keeping our customers at the heart of everything we do.

Job Purpose:

The ZUND Operative will work alongside the manufacturing team to pack manufactured goods according to customer requirements. This role is essential to ensuring our products are delivered with the highest quality and accuracy, maintaining our reputation for excellence.

Ongoing the role will involve training to fully understand operation of machinery.

Key Result Areas:

Packaging:

Pack and label manufactured products to the customer's specification. Setup and use the automatic bagging machines. Setup and use the automatic labelling machine. Ensure a high level of detail and ensure that all quality control processes are followed. Collaborate with the fulfilment team to understand packing specifications and customer requirements.

Cutting machine operation:

Operate the cutting machines to meet the production schedule. Understand and where possible optimize the cutting processes. Operate the laminator to apply self-adhesive to sheet/roll form products. Manage waste and keep it to minimum levels. Carry out routine maintenance according to the schedule.

General:

Stock check raw materials used in the manufacturing process when needed. Maintain a clean and organized working environment. Ensure raw materials and finished goods are stored appropriately. Liaise with other departments to ensure that order deadlines are met.

Quality Control:

Maintain all daily records. Highlight any product quality issues. Contribute to Continuous Improvement Practises Follow ISO procedures

Teamwork:

Develop a strong, positive role within the company Support all production and warehouse operations Demonstrate a "Can do" attitude Communicate clearly and concisely

Qualifications:

Previous experience in a fulfilment or packing role preferred. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. Good communication skills. Basic understanding of health and safety practices. Physically fit and able to lift and move packages. Ability to operate packing machinery and equipment (training will be provided).

Schedule:

8 hour shift (12:00 until 20:00 - Holiday cover for the early shift as required 06:30 until 14:30pm). Day shift. Monday to Friday. Overtime.
