The Opportunity

This role will involve all phases of the Auditing process including planning and conducting internal audits across the plant. There will be scheduled and special audits (unscheduled) in response to any concerns across the Quality Management System (QMS).

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

  • Conduct and facilitate the internal audit process for each phase (plan, do, check, act)
  • Support the handling / closure of NC\'s, observations (OBS) & opportunities for improvement (OFI) arising from QMS audits
  • Handling required reports and paper work (KPI charts, presentations & paperwork etc)
  • Assist in any other tasks required to accomplish the EMC QMS goals (i.e. workshops, training etc)
  • Support Quality Assurance team with tasks (where required)
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Essential:
  • Relevant previous experience of Manufacturing / Engineering processes, tools and techniques
  • Continuous improvement \'mind set\' with the ability to identify and implement robust solutions and enhancements
  • Applicants are required to be Quality orientated and Customer focused
  • Strong written / verbal communication skills required to effectively collect, collate and communicate data cross functionally at multiple levels
  • MS Office literacy (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint etc.)
  • Understanding of documentation within EMC (SPL, Templates, QPS, WES, PPS, 5 Why, VM etc)
Desirable:
  • IATF 16949 Internal Auditor training / awareness
  • Practical Problem solving experience
  • Core tools experience (FMEA, Control Plan, SPC, MSA etc)
  • An understanding of this function, including roles and responsibility within the wider business
  • Experience in performing audits from beginning to end, including reporting and presentation.
