Machinist
Job Description
We're on the lookout for a skilled and dependable CNC Machinist to join our growing production team. In this hands-on role, you'll be responsible for programming and operating CNC machinery with precision and care, helping us deliver the high-quality results our reputation is built on.
A solid understanding of the kitchen manufacturing process is essential and experience working with Beam Saws and Edge Bander is a must. You'll be part of a supportive, close-knit team in a clean, well-organised factory environment, so being able to work efficiently, collaboratively and with a strong eye for detail is key.
Key Responsibilities:
Operating and programming CNC machines for kitchen and bedroom components Working with Beam Saws and Edge Banders Reading and interpreting technical drawings and production paperwork Setting up and calibrating machines for daily production Conducting quality checks to ensure components meet required specifications Collaborating with the production team to meet deadlines and maintain workflow Carrying out routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimum performance
Essential Requirements:
Minimum 3 years' experience as a CNC Operator/Machinist in a kitchen manufacturing environment Proficient in CNC machine programming and operation Experience operating Beam Saws and Edge Banders Solid understanding of furniture/kitchen manufacturing processes Ability to read technical drawings and follow production specs Strong teamwork and communication skills Reliable and punctual with a proactive attitude Must be able to commute to Huyton, Liverpool
