Night Shift Machinist, Nightshift.

Pack Team Lead

About Us:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Machinist to join our production team at Gateshead Team Valley. The Machinist role will be to assist production in meeting required standards whilst ensuring all products are of correct quality standards and meet specifications. You will be required to utilize various machines to achieve customer orders on time in full.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up and ensure the day-to-day running of the Capper machine Operate machines including wrappers, labellers, checkweigher, printers, and the Capper machine Diagnose machine tool malfunctions and perform adjustments or repairs Ensure product quality and correct codes Assist in training new machinists Adhere to Health and Safety guidelines and wear appropriate PPE Ensure clean as you go is adhered to

Skills & Experience Required:

Able to work quickly and methodically Excellent numeracy skills Flexible with work activities and additional tasks Self-motivated, punctual, and reliable Strong sense of customer focus

Qualifications:

Right to work in the United Kingdom Experience in food manufacturing and food handling Good verbal and written English communication Level 2 Food Safety and Manual Handling Why Join Us?
